Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Ryan Burton began working in Broadcasting & Advertising in 1989 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada at McGill University’s CKUT 90.3 FM, Broadcasting Live from the William Shatner Building. Ryan Burton’s first show was a weekly program that featured only new Canadian bands and was called “Soundcheck”. This show was influenced largely by Ryan Burton’s time as a member of Montreal Rock Band I.C. RED. Ryan Burton’s radio career moved from on air to Sales and Management in 2001 when he started selling a 3-station cluster in Ontario Canada’s Niagara region. After success in Canada Ryan Burton was invited to join the very progressive Cumulus Broadcasting in Macon, Georgia. Several moves and great professional exposure followed the Macon position. Ryan Burton worked in Broadcast Advertising in Huntsville, Alabama, Denver, Colorado, Fort Myers, Florida, & Orlando, Florida. In 2006 Ryan Burton left radio to join AT&T Advertising Solutions (then BellSouth) in Orlando, FL. For the past 5 years Ryan Burton worked in several states with AT&T (Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, & Kentucky). Ryan Burton continues to proudly work for AT&T Advertising Solutions as an Area Sales Manager Internet in Atlanta, Georgia.
